BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Convention introduced the ladies’s tennis coaches’ preseason ballot, Wednesday.
Texas A&M was picked as the general champion. The Aggies are presently ranked fifth within the ITA preseason rankings. TAMU completed the season 33-2, together with going undefeated in convention play. They received each the common season title in addition to the SEC Event Championship.
The highest half of the league consists of Georgia at second with 185 factors, Vanderbilt voted third with 165 factors, Auburn with 144 factors for fourth, Florida at fifth with 128 factors, Tennessee with 124 factors for sixth and South Carolina with 105 factors for seventh.
The underside half of the convention begins with LSU at eighth with 103 factors, Arkansas voted ninth with 90 factors, Ole Miss at tenth with 69 factors, Alabama voted eleventh with 66 factors, Mississippi State at twelfth with 40 factors, Kentucky’s 37 factors lands them at thirteenth and Missouri at 14th with 24 factors.
The preseason ballot is voted on by the ladies’s tennis head coach at every establishment and is predicated on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
